Lush and Soap & Glory

Hey guys!

It's almost the end of the semester now and I'm still juggling between assignments, presentations and sleep!! Haha That's really all there is to my life now. I can't wait to end this semester!

Here are a couple of the things my sis got when she came back about a month ago. Asked her to get me some lush when she comes back last year before she left. And she remembered! hahah I've been keeping these pictures in a folder made especially for my blog posts and it's been sitting there forever. I've totally forgotten about them :p What I normally do is take shots of stuff and put them in a folder and only use them when I feel like blogging.

So here goes.


One thing I have to say... Lush is not cheap! :( The Soap & Glory body butter smells so goooooood. Even better than some of my Body Shop's body butter! haha funny story by the way. My sis Sharon bought my mom a set of goodies from the Body Shop which includes their shower gel, a loofah, body butter and the likes. My mom thought the body butter was a hair conditioner and used it on her hair! she didn't realize this until she asked Sharon what's wrong with it coz it doesn't seem to do anything for her hair. By then, the whole tub was almost used up! Story of her life! lol

Before Shala came back, I asked her to get some more MAC stuff coz I know it will probably be a long time before I get to buy anything from MAC again! Ugh saddest day of my life. lol

I got these two blushes coz they are many of my favourite youtube gurus' faves and these two always appear in their monthly faves I just can't resist! So far I've only tried Pink Swoon. Super pretty as expected. Nice quality and nice packaging as well. Of all the makeup that I own (which isn't a lot) these blushes are probably the ones that I admire the longest time. Yes there have been occasions where I actually stood in the middle of my bedroom staring at these blushes.

I'm not crazy... just different. :p

MAC studio fix in NC40. Okay I thought this was gonna be super dark for me but apparently it suits my skin tone well! I thought I was an NC30. Guess I underestimated the darkness of my skin. -___-

Just a short one tonight. I have been a busy bee all week long! There are so much to do this month and even though it's only the beginning of October, I can't wait for it to end. That's how bad it is. However I always try to be productive on selected days hence this blog post! It unnerves me to know that my blog is just sitting here stagnant. I've been testing out the colors and some have glitters in them which is annoying to me but they are still so pretty! I never know which shadow I wanna use coz every time I saw these two palettes I feel like trying out ALL the shadows at once! The best things that came along with the palette are the eyeliners! Gahhh they are to die for.

My Skin79 purchases!

I've been gone for about a week now. If you didn't know my sis Shala just came back from her studies overseas so I took time off to spend some quality time with the family. Eseh. Not really, just been busy doing God knows what. Ugh. Today I'll be sharing with you guys my shopping experience at Skin79, Gadong when I won Face of the Week back in August! I don't remember which week was it that I won but I know it made me super happy!!

Skin79's Sun Protect Beblesh Pact



This powder is probably my favourite purchase along with the Skin79's Hot Pink BB Cream! I've already done a review on the BB Cream here so you can go check it out if you're interested. :) The texture of this powder is definitely smooth and creamy-ish and has medium coverage. Also worth checking out! :D

Skin79's Simple Touch Eyeliner


The Skin79's eyeliner is super thin and fine!! It's not as dark as I'd like it to be but the good thing about this eyeliner is that it's buildable. All you have to do is go over the eyeliner twice or thrice if you want to get an ultra dark line. I'd choose it over the Revlon's liquid eye pen any day of the year! :p And because of the really fine tip it's pretty easy to wing out your eyeliner with just a flick of your wrist. I is recommend!

Skin79's Crystal peeling gel


Personally I preferred using scrubs to exfoliate my skin but I opted for this instead of their Sweet honey sugar scrub just because I already had 2 jar of scrubs back home from The Body Shop (which I love!). There's nothing really remarkable about this product; it works okay. Maybe next time I could try out their Sweet honey sugar scrub instead!

This final item I got for free coz the total amount exceeded BND$100 by a few dollars! Overall I really enjoyed my time exploring the Skin79 store in The Mall, Gadong. The sales lady is super sweet and knowledgeable about all the items there she's like a human Skin79 encyclopedia! ;D I can't thank Skin79 enough for choosing me as one of the winners for Face of the Week.
