Quick OOTD + FOTD

Wow. Life has been pretty hectic here in KL. Everywhere you go in the city you'll see beautiful people in beautiful clothes and I can't help but feel inspired to wear something nice when I go out too but alas, I live and thrive in my T-shirts and black leggings. Today I finally decided to chop some inches off my hair because it felt really blah to me already. Don't get me wrong, I love having long hair but it's a hassle taking care of such long tresses. I got mine done at a salon recommended by Kim which is Secolo at Times Square. Apparently, Kinki Ryusaki also did her hair there?

I call this dressing up. lol

This is taken before we head out. Struggling to keep my hair out of my face.

Top: Forever21
Shorts: Mango
Tights: Susoku
Flats: Studded flats from Schumaker
Bag: Fringe bag from Elle Girl
Shades: Vincci

Eyeshadow: Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette
Lips: MAC Blankety
Cheeks: MAC Fleur Power
Eyebrows: L'oreal Brow Stylist in Dark Brown
Setting Powder: MAC MSF Medium Plus

Used some black eyeshadow today for the outer corner of my eyes which I rarely do. I'm also glad my eyebrows looked somewhat similar today lol It's the closest I can get to have them look identical.

OOTDs: Day out shopping & Zouk

The other day me and Kenny went out to Midvalley to shop for some clothes after we decided to join Kim and her friends to Zouk. We've really no choice coz all we own are T-shirts and jeans and shorts and in my mind at least, Zouk deserves better treatment than a T-shirt and shorts lol I bought a few items at Forever21 and damn.. F21 is pretty expensive here!

FOTD:

Top from Cotton On, Hi-low skirt from Forever21 and flats from Jelly Bunny

I love the skirt!!! So flowy and girly. This is one of the few times I actually wore a skirt apart from Baju Kurung lol

Kenny's OOTD! Top from Forever21, Skinnies from Soda and flats from Jelly Bunny

OOTD for Zouk night out:

My top is from Forver21 (a whooping RM95 fml).. cross leggings and shoes from Cotton On, cross body bag from Bonita and jacket I brought with me from Brunei. Kenny got her amazing dress from The Pink Pussycat from Midvalley and Kim's gorgeous black dress is from Times Square and cross body bag from Forever21!

I feel very 2NE1-ish with the printed leggings and sneakers lol

Zouk was so much fun! Some of the music remind me of the ones they played at the music festival in Sepang. There were even some dub step music thrown in too. I've always wanted to go to the clubs here but I never thought the first club I'd step into in KL would be Zouk! It sets the bar high for me and I'm kinda hoping now that the other clubs would be as good as this one (fingers crossed we'll be going to another club at all lol)

Out and about in Times Square & Midvalley!

Next week is going to be our third week of the semester so tutorials will be starting soon. The education system in UM is slightly different but it is still more or less the same as UBD less the fact that the lecturers here don't exactly stick to one core textbook for each course. The notes are a little bit here and there so me and Kanniga is still trying to grasp the idea of not having any textbooks to refer to. We are that old school.

Anyways! This weekend is the best!! (I know I said the same thing in my last post but this week really is the best lol) Our classes are only on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. So on the other days we won't need to head over to UM for any classes, which is pretty awesome. This friday we went to Times Square, Saturday we went to Bukit Bintang and today we went to Midvalley - again!

We've been to Midvalley the most so far because it's closest to the place where we are staying but only today we found out that the Gardens was right next to Midvalley! If you don't already know, the Gardens is a shopping mall much like Pavillion, but just a tad smaller.

My favorite place for snacks in Little Taipei at Times Square!

The mischievous Norain

At this Shabu Shabu place in Times Square

My first time trying Subway. The line was really long, I panicked when the lady asked me which veggie I'd like in my sandwich so I told her whichever so she put everything in. -__- That was supposed to be Chicken Teriyaki btw

OOTD which consists of a blouse and 3/4 workout pants (and a pair of flip flops) lol

An event happening at Midvalley earlier

Lunch at Thai Up!

Kenny's Tom Yam

Thai Green Curry. It's goooood!

The Gardens shopping mall which we just discovered lol

Kenny lits up when she saw this little corner in Marks & Spencer!

Biggest bookstore I've been in so far!

One of the many book sections at Borders

 My haul for today.
Finally bought MAC's Studio Fix Fluid!

If you follow me on twitter, you might have came across my tweets saying I moved from Pantai Hillpark to Pantai Panorama! Pantai Hillpark is fine but the one we're staying in is in Phase 5 which is on top of a hill (more like a sahara desert on a mountain aka a sahara mountain) and we couldn't bring ourselves to walk up that hill every single day so we decided to move. Anyway, the view from my new apartment at Panorama is really spectacular. I'm so grateful to be able to see this every night and all I have to do is turn my head to the right.

Sharon's birthday weekend (Day 2)

Here's what went down on day 2 of that weekend! By the second day we have basically ran out of things to do (surprise, surprise) so we left for home in the afternoon. But not before a quick swim and some scurrying around The Times Square area!

Trying to keep our eyes open, it was really bright outside! Anyways, we woke up super early at 7am to dominate the pool at the hotel. Luckily it was just us and thank God it was shaded! The water was freezing though.

Just puttin' mah shoes on..

Taking advantage of the extremely good lighting in the room!

A shot of the four of us siblings I put up on Instagram!

 Shala, Sharon and me

I'm wearing my new horse printed top! I love it! Still can't believe it's a size S from F21.

Having our breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. The food is magnificent! I always have a love-hate relationship with buffets. Wanted to try everything but don't have enough stomach capacity lol

This is only a small selection of the food they have! It's crazy.

Sharon and her birthday cake from Lof!

Went out to Airport Mall coz the siblings have never been to D'Brandon clothing store. How can??! But they were closed when we got there, talk about no fate.

The place was pretty deserted so we used the massage chairs! This is the first time I've tried it even though I've seen it around everywhere in shopping malls lately and it's pretty good!

After walking around aimlessly we decided to go for some sushi snacking. I don't know what we're trying to achieve here because truthfully we were still pretty full from the heavy breakfast!

Shala imitating my brother's habit of pushing his glasses up his nose-bridge!

We couldn't think of anything else to do after that so ended up Karaoke-ing!

So that pretty much sums up our weekend! Though it's not much I still enjoyed it because I honestly can't remember the last time the four of us siblings actually went out together. It's been that long. Sometimes we just get caught up in our own lives we tend to forget about the people in the next room, you know!
