Norman Reedus. And the holidays.

Hey people!

So I finally have time to actually sit down in front of the computer screen and blog. I've had my last day of exams earlier today and you have no idea how glad I am that it's finally ovar! Good thing it only took 3 days. Who knew how much coffee I'd drink if the exams took two weeks? Eeek.

I'm pretty excited for the holidays! Don't have much of a plan yet but I think it was a much needed break after four months of madness running around campus just thinking of meeting deadlines, essays, essays and more essays! Just this semester alone I've done around 6 or 7 presentations! Madness I tell you!! :p

So amongst all these chaos I still managed to watch HIMYM, Modern Family, 90210 (stopped halfway, can't catch up), American Horror Story, The Vampire Diaries and most importantly, The Walking Dead! After that episode of Daryl Dixon hunting and almost got shot in the head I was head over heels for this series. Unfortunately the second season of The Walking Dead is ending wtf so bad timing #fail

Right? Right??! lol

Also, I don't know if you (I hope someone reads my blog!) remember me mentioning about a giveaway about 2 months ago but I'm finally gonna do it really soon! I had a lot on my plate this semester so I never got around to it but be sure to check back yeah... anytime now... ;p

Going to the hairdresser's + Awesome dinner

Hey people!

Went out to Seria yesterday to get my much needed haircut at Sally's. Before this I still had the bleached ends from literally years ago and it's really starting to look pretty horrible so I had them cut. I don't usually visit the hairdresser's as much as I should have. Maybe a few times a year. Sometimes I don't cut my hair for more than a year which is probably why they tend to reach my hips sometimes. If my fringe grows, I just cut them myself even though it's uneven :p No one notices trust meeee hahah

Goodbye ugly bleached ends!

Then I saw this...


The lady who always did my hair (I think her name is Kim), told me they can now dye hair without bleaching and it will still look really vibrant. I was debating between the top row third from left and that neon pink! I've always wanted to have reddish hair or have some pink highlights done just because. But in the end I picked the 'fire red'.


I kinda thought this would look too bright if I dyed the whole head so I asked to just do the tips of my hair but she recommended doing it higher. I'm okay with whatever actually because hair grows! :p

It took around 45 minutes for the color to set in so you can imagine how bored I was. Special shout out to Bejeweled which made time fly. lol Everything took around two hours basically. After that, me and the siblings decided that we are hungry and we went to Excapade!

Are your eyebrows perfect?

Hey guys.

If there's one thing that I can never do right, it's my eyebrows. I can safely say that all my life I've been having problems with the shape of my eyebrows. They just never look right to me. Sometimes I wonder how those people with perfect eyebrows do it. My eyebrows are pretty sparse and the little hairs stick out all over the place even after I go through them with the cute little eyebrow comb a bazillion times.

No matter how much I try to trim them or whatever, they still look crappy. Story of my life!

How can?? I want also!

Another thing I wanna complain about my eyebrows :p are the fact that they are both shaped really differently. Michelle Phan always says, "Your eyebrows should not look like twins - they are sisters." My eyebrows are not even related to each other wtf

Sometimes, they're too thick...


Sometimes, too thin...


Sometimes they're okay...


Other times, I don't even bother.


Every time I do my makeup I normally start with my eyebrows just because it's the hardest to do, for me at least and I know it will look horrible either way so I wanted to get it out of the way asap lol What I need to do is to hire a pro to help me do my eyebrows every morning for the rest of my life then I shall be fine. :p

I use both eyebrow pencils and eyebrow powder. Or eye shadows. Depends on which is within my reach. Maybe I could do a post some other time on how I do my eyebrows horribly lol I'm open to constructive criticism ;)

But I guess we all know I'll always camwhore no matter how ugly my eyebrows are.

FOTD + Revlon's Pink Pout

Hey guys.

Finally saw the lighter Revlon matte shades of lipsticks being sold in Guardian. I've been on the look out for the shade 'Pink Pout' since forever. I noticed that there are always only 4 shades of the matte lipstick available here and they now added another 4 lighter colored ones. Pink Pout I think was one of Hollyannaeree's fav drugstore lipstick so I'm really excited to try it out!

Looks dark here but it's in fact a pretty light pink shade! Retails for BND16.90.
